Renaissance Winds Stallions

Harlem's P.R. Man

Here he is..the MAN in BLACK..and WHAT a stallion! Big, bold and beautiful with extreme elevation and suspension, this stallion is stunning! Shown successfully in the five-gaited divisions in the Southeast and Missouri circuits, he left quite an impression. By the multi-titled WC sire, WC Harlem Globetrotter, and out of the well-bred dam, Conversationalist (Sultan's Warhawk x Chameleon (BHF) by Mr. Magic Man, this stallion is royally bred. His dam, Conversationalist, was recently inducted into the Broodmare Hall of Fame in 2007, which gives "Harlem" an AMAZING 22 BHF dams in his pedigree. It's no wonder this stallion is so athletic and has amazing endurance- his genetics just cannot be beat. Standing a towering 16.2H, conservatively, with a huge mop of shoulder-length mane and a tail too thick to even braid, he is just simply breath-taking. His natural elevated movement, combined with a very forward motion, makes him appear to float on air, whether at a walk or a flat out gallop. His exquisitely chiseled head sits perfectly atop a gracefully arched neck, leading to a huge muscular shoulder and chest, and very powerful hind-quarters. With plenty of size and bone, Harlem has no shortcomings. Even his disposition is one of a gracious well-mannered gentleman .All his foals have shown wonderful, willing personalities, very high play drives, and extremely curious, happy natures. And, like their sire, all are very gifted with their legs, have beautiful conformations, and will no doubt attain the impressive size and charisma of their "papa". We just adore this stallion for so many reasons. He is happy to do whatever we ask of him without being difficult or unruly, and those are very important traits to us along with his conformation and movement. And the mares just love him! Our mares that are already in foal to him still visit with him across the fence, looking for all the world like a group of high-school girls with a crush on the star football player! We absolutely cannot wait to see what each Spring brings us, as we have YET to be disappointed! His genetics are an asset to any breeding program, and his offspring have been given the gift of his superior gene-pool, which will set them far beyond all others, physically as well as mentally.

The breeding fees are by Private Treaty with multiple mare discounts available. Breeding available with frozen semen only. Please contact us for further information, as we'll be most happy to answer any questions.

A stunningly beautiful mare in her younger years, Conversationalist has produced three World Champions to date: CH Kalarama's New Sensation, a beautiful champion Fine Harness mare; Harlem's Friendly Conversation, 1999 WC Fine Harness Stallion, and Kalarama's Loose Lips, 2006 WC Three-Gaited Junior Exhibitor champion. These three offspring have enabled Conversationalist to be inducted into the Broodmare Hall of Fame as of January 2007. We are so excited to have such an amazing maternal bloodline, and have no doubt that her influence will also be seen in the offspring of her son, our own, Harlem's P.R. Man.
Our beautiful stallion's sire, WC Harlem Globetrotter, stands out as a proven and consistant sire, still standing at Kalarama Farm, in Springfield, KY. at almost 30 years of age.

Born in 1980, Harlem Globetrotter is solid black and moves like liquid silk. Earning an impressive 5 World Championship titles during his own career, his bloodlines trace to 7 World Champions and 18 Broodmare Hall of Fame dams in five generations. He has produced World's Champions in every division and from all over the country.

Marianna Haun, author of "The X-Factor," stated that "Harlem Globetrotter has the large heart with high amplitude, which is the pattern we've seen in the Saddlebred history of its greatest champions." We have no doubt that Harlem Globetrotter is passing this trait of "inherited greatness" on to his son, Harlem's P.R. Man, who will no doubt continue to do so in his offpsring as well.

Intrepido mc

Arising from a collaberation of two renowned breeders, Abelardo Morales Puron of the Cortijo Las Morerias in Monterrey, Mexico, and Karen Jenkins of Music City Andalusians in Ocala, Florida, this up and coming young stallion is the offspring of a National Champion sire and a National Champion dam. Heavy Militar and Terry breeding on his sire's side, this stallion's bloodlines are exquisite, with notables such as Agente, Hosco II, and Nevado III. On his dam Noria's side, her Terry influence is very apparent in his undeniable gorgeous looks and ABUNDANT mane and tail. Her bloodlines are influenced by Jenson, Poseido V, and Dadiviso XIV, from the famous Paco Lazo lines. Intrepido may very well attain the size and substance of 16+H sire, whose untimely and unnecessary death was a tragic loss to the breed. Intrepido MC is only one of five offspring sired by the unforgettable Tortolillo, and only ONE of two colts of the five. We are already seeing strong similarities in this colt with his sire- in movement, conformation, as well as disposition.

Our goal is to eventually breed him with our Saddlebred mares, for the absolutely PERFECT sporthorse, and to also acquire a few Andalusian mares to produce pure-bred offspring so that we can continue his fabulous lineage.

2007 began to show us some incredible changes in "little" Intrepido, who is not so very "little" anymore at over 15.3H and over 900 lbs....as a TWO year old! After waiting and waiting to see some "glimmer" of his sire...well.... it's starting to show now in his beautifully sculpted head, gracefully arched neck, gentle nature ... and then there's that MOVEMENT. Seemingly out of nowhere, those feet are coming off the ground as though he's stepping on clouds, and that once bay coat is now giving way to a silvery-dapple gray. Don't think the black mane and tail are gonna change though, so you can only imagine what a striking stallion he's going to become in the next couple of years.

Intrepido is registered with the IALHA Association in the United States. He has been inscribed in The Spanish Stud Book as of 9/29/2007, and will be eligible for Revision.

Breeding Fees will be by Private Treaty. Intrepido carries bay and black genes, with the gray gene being dominant from both his sire and dam. Breeding available with frozen semen only. Please contact us for contracts and further information.

A High Schooled sire, Tortolillo, imported in 2002, was Champion Senior Stallion as well as Reserve National Champion, and Reserve Champion Functionality at the AMCCE in Mexico that same year. He also was Regional Champion in 2001, and won first place in Movement & Functionality. When we first saw Tortolillo, we were amazed by the incredible suspension and elevation that this stallion naturally possessed. His demeanor was so gentle and kind, that it was hard to believe that he was also the same horse possessing such a powerful presense in the showring. Intrepido's dam, Noria TG, also carries National Championship title in Best Movement & Functionality.
